Hometown Celebration

It's hard to believe that July is almost over. I sure enjoy spending the Holidays with my family. This year in the 24th parade was very special to me. CG's parents Gail and JoeAnn were the Grand Marshalls, and it sure did mean alot to them. I am also very appreciative to the Military Men. This year it has hit closer to home and I am So thankful for the safe return of my Brother-in-Law Russell Monroe and also 2 Nephews Brett and Mitchell Heath. I have been able to see the sacrifices being made everyday as they were over in Iraq fighting for our Freedom. We are pretty lucky to have such a great place to live, and the freedoms that we enjoy.
Kaybri, Kamree, Kaydence & Chantri throwing candy in the parade. Kinsey and Cheltsey on the 4-wheeler.

Gail and JoeAnn were the Grand Marshalls for the Redmond Town Parade.

Last night we BBQ Hamburgers and played games while we waited for the fireworks.

I too am grateful for the many service men and women who sacrifice so much - my nephew is in Afghanistan and left behind a pregnent wife and a 1 1/2 year old! Looks like the Redmond celebration was a fun one!

We usually don't stick around for the Redmond celebrations but it looks like we need to! Your blog is so cute. How did you get your header to look like a scrap book? Cute family!
